Jewell is an actor and writer. Chosen from a pool of over 200 applicants to join 12 comedians in WhoHaha's 2019 Video Lab, Jewell worked with WhoHaha (Elizabeth Banks), to produce and star in her original parody video The Sweet Turtle Bachelor. She recently starred in short film Buy Roses For Me, playing a idealistic young art curator, and was also proud to portray Lillian Faderman in recent episode of 365 Days of Love, directed by Allison Tate and produced by Sofia Vergara’s RAZE and NewForm.
Watch Jewell perform monthly with her improv team Chased by Bear at Impro Studio. Jewell is an accomplished improv performer, with over 8+ years of experience. She has gone on to teach and perform all over the country.

The Detective is a comedic mockumentary about a fledgling detective who meets his match searching for a barely competent thief. Jewell cowrote and stars in the film, along with comedy partner Adrian Ruvalcaba.
Stand Up Basement (2019 DVC Film Festival - Official Selection)
Jewell appears in Stand Up Basement, a comedic short about a young woman who gets trapped in the basement of a man practicing his tight five.
Jewell studied acting at American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, San Diego State University, and NYU Tisch. She continues her training in LA, recently studying acting and audition technique with Tess Paras and Annie Grindlay, as well as improv at The Ruby (formerly The Nerdist School).
Jewell has studied sketch comedy writing with Eric Scott at Upright Citizens Brigade, Jen Curran at The Ruby LA, and writing for television with Patricia Villetto.
